Grumpy Mule

The following rules apply to your participation in our ‘What’s made you grumpy this month?’ Twitter competition. By submitting your entry and by entering the Competition you agree to the following rules.

Prize: One winner will be selected. The prize will vary each month from Grumpy Mule coffee to Grumpy Mule merchandise and will be decided by us at our discretion. All participants will know what the prize will be upon entering.

March’s prize: This will be two tickets to London Coffee Festival. Winners must be available between 12th – 15th of March and be able to travel to London.

The terms and conditions for the LCF tickets can be found below:

  • The code will provide the winner with 2 standard tickets to a session of their choice (code will not be valid on VIP or full day tickets; only applicable to standard sessions between Thursday 12th April – Sunday 15th April)
  • In order to redeem, the winner must select the session of their choice from the LCF ticket page
    ( and submit the code within the ‘Promo code’ section upon checkout. This will be provided to the chosen winner.
  • Tickets cannot be split – the code will provide 1 winner with 2 tickets: please ensure 2 tickets are added into the basket before submitting the code
  • Codes cannot be exchanged/refunded

To enter: Internet access and valid email address required to participate. To enter, simply visit the Grumpy Mule twitter page ( , find the relevant post, ensure it corresponds with the correct month, and follow the instructions: reply to the post and state three things that have you grumpy in that month. Any answers should not be offensive to any other individual or group. Whether an entry is deemed to be offensive shall be at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Entry made via a third party (including by use of an automated service) is not permitted. An entry sent in this way will not be valid. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason at its absolute discretion.

Grumpy Mule will monitor all entries for the period of the competition.

Promotion runs throughout the final week of every month and the winner will be announced and contacted during the first week of the following month. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on the final day of that month.

The Competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, or their agents, families and suppliers, or anyone connected with the Promoter are not eligible to participate.

Prize Draw and notification of winners: All correct entries will be collated and a winner picked at random for Twitter and based on the best comment. The winner will be notified through Twitter and will have to provide their postal address to the Promoter within a week of announcement. If a winner fails to respond by the stated time, the winner forfeits their right to any prize and the Promoter will select an alternative winner. Any further selection of winners will be in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The prizes are as described in these rules. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason at its absolute discretion.
The Promoter reserves the right to vary these rules at any time, or to withdraw the Competition altogether for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

The Promoter’s decision is final in connection with all matters arising from this Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility, liability or any consequences whatsoever for participating in this Competition or the prize offered in relation to the Competition.
