Here’s the thing about having 100 years of experience: it probably means you’re quite good. Whatever it is you do. Fortunately for us, with our Kangiri farmers in Kenya, it’s coffee.

At Muranga County, in the heart of traditional Kikuyu territory, they’ve got a century of coffee growing expertise in the bank. And it shows. The coffee is grown at the perfect altitude and aspect, enjoying the cool temperatures, the rich red-brown soils and soaking up the fresh water running down from the Aberdare mountain range.

And as you might expect from growers with triple-figure heritage, they give the crop plenty of time to grow slow. Because a slow grow amps up the flavour, producing an exceptional complexity in the cup. Give it time, grasshopper.
