DELIVERIES TO THE UK ONLY.

Sadly, we can only accept orders to be delivered to destinations in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Deliveries outside the UK cannot be accepted. Many thanks to all those people who’ve made enquiries from outside the UK – we hope to be able to offer this service at some point in the near future.

FANTASTIC ONLINE OFFER.

Royal Mail 48* delivery is FREE on all orders of £25 and over! This is an extremely popular option, as it also offers the peace of mind of a tracked delivery that will arrive within 2-3 working days of placing the order.

ORDERS UNDER £25 IN VALUE.

We automatically send out all parcels and deliveries, with a value under £25, by Royal Mail. The delivery charge made on orders under £25 simply reflects the price it costs to send out the weight of that particular order and parcel – we do not make any charges above that.

We aim to deliver all coffee orders within 5 days of purchase although ideally, as soon as possible. Please see the information below.

1. Royal Mail Deliveries
This is the standard method of delivery for most orders. Typically, parcels arrive within a few days from dispatch and the level of service is very good. Please note that most parcels sent by post are relatively bulky and will not fit through a letter box, but if no-one is home Royal Mail will leave an explanatory note through the door if the parcel cannot be left.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR DELIVERIES.

From 1st December onwards each year, Royal Mail become much busier with Christmas deliveries. During this period, it is advisable to order as soon as possible to allow time for delivery.

As a rule, please place your Grumpy Mule online order before 12pm on the 20th December to ensure delivery before Christmas. If you have any enquiries over the location of your parcel, please don’t hesitate to contact us on coffee@grumpymule.co.uk

VAT ON DELIVERY.

While our product prices are inclusive of VAT, all delivery prices stated on this page are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added to delivery charges if any purchased items are VAT rated products. This means the final quoted delivery charge may be more than the quoted figures here. Coffee itself is not a VAT rated product. Equipment or gift packs including non coffee products are VAT rated.

DELIVERY WEIGHT.

The weight of an order is the combined pack weight of product and the weight of its delivery packaging. Weights displayed on the site are the product pack weights only.

Always arrives just in time

Easy to order my favourite Sumatra Organic coffee beans and extra good value when I order 6 bags!!!

The coffee i, eventually, received is decent, hence the 2 stars, however prior to that was a shambles and not what i expected, if i had known i would not have bought. I placed an order, was then advised there was a delay, to be told i would receive on a certain day, which didn't happen. I also did not receive what i ordered. I ordered in May and expected a specific blend, this was changed, without my consent, and sent anyway, as it is June's pick, even though my order was placed in May. First impressions count for a lot, and i was not left with a great one, on the admin side at least. I have now ordered from another independent company, hopefully the pre arrival experience will be better. I will think long and hard before using again. I may give them the benefit of the doubt, we shall see, only based on the fact the coffee is pretty decent. But if it happens again i will not, if i do order and it goes well then i will revise my review and give a better score.

We're sorry that your experience didn't meet expectations and missed the delivery date. We completely understand your frustration, particularly as you were expecting a specific coffee and instead received a different one.

Our Mule's Pick subscription features a different coffee each month, so when your order was dispatched in June, it was fulfilled with June's featured coffee rather than the May coffee you were expecting. While there was a reason for the change, we appreciate that this should have been clearly communicated to you beforehand.

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the coffee itself, but we know that great coffee doesn't make up for a disappointing customer experience. As an apology, we will send you a bag of our May Mule's Pick coffee so that you can try the coffee you originally ordered.
