Sadly, we can only accept orders to be delivered to destinations in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Deliveries outside the UK cannot be accepted. Many thanks to all those people who’ve made enquiries from outside the UK – we hope to be able to offer this service at some point in the near future.
Parcel Force 48* delivery is FREE on all orders of £25 and over! This is an extremely popular option, as it also offers the peace of mind of a tracked, signed delivery that will arrive within 2-3 working days of placing the order.
We automatically send out all parcels and deliveries, with a value under £25, by Royal Mail, First Class delivery. The delivery charge made on orders under £25 simply reflects the price it costs to send out the weight of that particular order and parcel – we do not make any charges above that. On orders under £25 there is the option to upgrade to a Parcelforce signed delivery service, with the charge appropriate to this.
We aim to deliver all coffee orders within 5 days of purchase although ideally, as soon as possible. Please see the information below.
Equipment and coffee machines may take a little longer for delivery (up to 28 days) but again we aim to have it delivered to you within 5 days of purchase.

1. Royal Mail Deliveries
This is the standard method of delivery for most orders of under £25, unless an optional upgrade is chosen. Any orders received before 12pm, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched that day. Weekend orders are dispatched on a Monday. We only send Royal Mail orders out by First Class post. Typically, parcels arrive within a few days from dispatch and the level of service is very good. Please note that most parcels sent by post are relatively bulky and will not fit through a letter box, but if no-one is home Royal Mail will leave an explanatory note through the door if the parcel cannot be left.
The Parcelforce service offers a tracked delivery that must be signed for upon receipt, although you can select your own delivery instructions to be left in your absence if you choose (under these circumstances, we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss if the parcel has not been signed for.) The additional benefits with Parcelforce is that in the instance that the parcel cannot be delivered after several attempts, it can be left for collection at a local Post Office. Any orders received before 12pm, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched that day. Weekend orders are dispatched on a Monday.

Please note that deliveries are made Monday to Friday, so please place your order by Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. There may be exceptions to some parts of the UK.
Parcelforce 24 if we receive an order before 12pm, Monday to Friday, the parcel will be dispatched for delivery within 24 hours of ordering unless placed on a weekend. Please note that deliveries are made Monday to Friday, so please place your order by Thursday to ensure delivery before the weekend under this optional service. There may be exceptions to some parts of the UK. You can upgrade your free delivery to Parcelforce 24 service with a small upgrade fee.
From 1st December onwards each year, both Royal Mail and Parcelforce become much busier with Christmas deliveries. During this period, it is advisable to order as soon as possible to allow time for delivery.
As a rule, please place your Grumpy Mule online order before 12pm on the 20th December to ensure delivery before Christmas. If you have any enquiries over the location of your parcel, please don’t hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org Please bare in mind that Royal Mail is at its busiest during the Christmas period so for peace of mind we would recommend Parcelforce for your most important orders.
While our product prices are inclusive of VAT, all delivery prices stated on this page are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added to delivery charges if any purchased items are VAT rated products. This means the final quoted delivery charge may be more than the quoted figures here. Coffee itself is not a VAT rated product. Equipment or gift packs including non coffee products are VAT rated.
The weight of an order is the combined pack weight of product and the weight of its delivery packaging. Weights displayed on the site are the product pack weights only.
